Puppies 6 Weeks

Yeah the puppies are six weeks and went into their first vet visit and for their first set of vaccines. Our Vet checked their eyes, ears, heart, joints and anything else you can think of, he was very thorough.
Our vet recommended the puppies also go in for the rest of the vaccines at 8 weeks, 12 weeks and 16 weeks.

Here are all the puppies ready to go to their first vet visit. This is a large size travel crate just to give you an idea of what they fit into.

This is our vet checking one of the puppies

They are really full of energy and love playing with mom and dad. I got some fun video of Crombie playing with a puppy. The one you see is the Orange little girl and then towards the end one of the Pink girls joins in. The rest are just running around and exploring.

Puppies Pedigree

I received the Litter Certificate for our puppies the other day from the AKC. This will give you their three generation pedigree.
Again we are unable to change Nessie's name with the AKC since she was registered and whelped in Hungary so don't be alarmed when you see her as Bokorszeri Afra.
All of the families purchasing a puppy will receive one of these litter certificates in their packet that will come with each puppy.

Puppies 5 weeks old!

Wow I can't believe they are five weeks old already!
We started them on puppy food this weekend and they loved it!
It's kind of funny to see their little personalities come out more with how they eat. Some really get in and scarf it down while a few of the others like to take their time. Their little tails go so fast they are so excited while they eat.

I must say raising puppies is hard work. It is so much like having a new baby except instead of just one baby I am constantly worried about eight. You worry about every little thing they are doing. You want to make sure they are each eating enough and moving correctly. When they are asleep I watch to make sure I can see them breathing and even give them a little nudge just to make sure. I don't know of any parent who has not done that! It is also so rewarding. I love to see them grow, they are all turning into white fluff balls. They are so fun to watch play and run around. It is defiantly nerve wracking though!

It has also been such a learning experience on the selling side figuring out payments, contracts, shipping etc....
We currently have five puppies going out of state and two staying in Utah. I really am so excited for the families that will be welcoming these puppies into their homes!

I got a few pictures of the puppies playing. It is so much harder getting pictures of them now that they are on the move constantly!

Hears one nibbling on moms ear

Mr. Light Blue playing with moms tail.
She puts up with a lot:)

I love how Miss Orange looks like she is smiling for the camera

Mr. Light Blue again enjoying his dinner

I can't remember which pup this was who was chewing on Crombie

I love how they play together. Hear are Mr. Red and Mr. Black

This is a video of the puppies first time eating the puppy food. Some had a harder time figuring out the bowl and kept wanting to eat it. You can see their little tails wage which is sooo cute!

The puppies will be getting their vaccines this weekend so we are looking forward to that and will defiantly let you all know how it goes.

Puppies 4 1/2 weeks

Yeah pictures!
Again sorry for the lack of posting pictures this week but hopefully things have finally settled down and we can get back to normal:)

So this is Mr. Green and our last little puppy available. He is the sweetest little guy and very outgoing and playful. He is always one of the first to run up to me when I go out to check on them. He is for sure a people puppy:)

Here is Miss Orange. She is such a fun little puppy. I caught her and Crombie playing the other day and I wish I had my video camera with me it was sooo cute! I will have to try and get Crombie playing with the puppies to show you all. She was also very into the camera. The first picture with her ears back was the first pic I took but when she heard the shutter of my camera she perked right up and was very interested in it.

Mr. Red is still as dashing as ever. He was not as sure of getting his picture taken this time. I think it was because we woke him up from his afternoon nap:)

Mr. Black or AKA Batman as his new family has chosen for him which I LOVE! He is such a chill dog and very easy going. He loves to explore and play with the other pups.

Mr. Blue is also very chill and fun. In the first picture he looks like he could be asleep:) I'm glad I got a pic with his eyes open. He also loves to explore and romp around.

Mr. Light Blue has gotten so big! He is such a funny pup, every time I go out to see them he comes right up to me and wants to nibble on my pant leg. All the puppies are getting their teeth in so we will be starting them on puppy food this next week.

Miss. Hot Pink is such a little princess I would say she is a girly girl:) She is also so spunky and full of energy and loves to run around.

Miss. Pink is turning into a bit of a tom boy. She really gets in and likes to play with the boys and show them how tough she is. She is also very sweet and loves to come up and be held.

And here is Crombie saying hi to Zander. Zander has pink eye (yuck) so I have been keeping him away from the puppies. I don't know if he could spread it to them but I don't want to risk it. I feel bad because he keeps asking to see the puppies:(
This pictrure was taken before the pink eye

Slacker

Sorry for the lack of posting this week. We have been busy with family in town and I just have not had time to sit down and load any pictures yet. I finally figured out how to take video with my high tech phone and upload it to YouTube which is SO much easier than how I had been doing it. So I plan on getting more video as well.

We have all the puppies but one sold! A family was going to come last weekend to look at the last one but it fell through. I am amazed at how fast we have sold them. This is defiantly a learning experience as we get things figured out with shipping and payments and such.  Just when you think that you thought of everything something new comes up.

I am super excited for the families who will be taking home these fun little puppies

Puppies 3 1/2 weeks old

So I have big news. All of the female puppies have been sold!
The family who was not sure if they wanted a male or female decided on a female and we have a couple in Denver who is wanting two female puppies!
I am very excited for the couple in Denver. I think two Komondor together is so great. These little girls will be friends for life:)
So we now have three male puppies left. I have had a few more emails about the puppies so we will see how things go.

I am very happy with the families I have talked with so far and am excited for them to take these puppies home. They will just fall in love with them!

I wanted to share a little about each puppy and what kind of personality I have been seeing in them.

Light Pink: She is very spunky and loves to explore. She will get right in and play with the other pups and when I go to check on them will come right up to me when she hears my voice.

Hot Pink: She is just a little princess. She is also not afraid to get out and explore and loves to play.

Bright Orange: She is the largest of the girls and loves her brothers and sisters. I usually catch her sleeping and relaxing.

Blue: He is a fun puppy and loves to run around and also explore. He is one of the braver ones that I see going out further than the others to look around.

Black: He is probably the second largest of the boys and like his sister Bright Orange I catch him sleeping and relaxing. He is also not afraid to get in and play with the others.

Red: He is the largest of the group and loves to play like the others. He is also a little piggy. He really gets right in and eats when ever he gets the chance.

Green: He is a very fun puppy and like Blue will really get out and explore. He loves to jump and play with the other puppies. He also loves to be held and always comes up to me.

Light Blue: He is one of the most outgoing puppies of the bunch. He is always playing and very active. He loves to explore and also comes right up to me and wants to be held.

Here is another video this one is a little longer than the others
You can hear Crombie barking at something in the background. The Bright Orange one is the one sleeping in the back.

and because I just can't get enough of them here is another video

Puppies 3 Weeks Old!

The puppies are three weeks old and doing great. They are getting so playful and it is so much fun to watch their little personalities start to come out. We finally got the colored collars so we can now tell them apart. We ordered puppy collars that are woven so you can make them any size, which will work great as they grow.
They are really starting to get around. We have a puppy kennel inside a larger kennel and they are now starting to explore outside the puppy kennel.

The three girls are: light pink, hot pink, and bright orange.
The five boys are: black, red, bright green, light blue, and blue.

Puppies 2 1/2 Weeks

I came home today and the puppies were up and moving around so I grabbed my camera. They are really starting to get around more although they still stay in the kennel and have not ventured out yet. They are still working on the walking thing:)
The couple in New York will be getting one of our male puppies. They are Hungarian and I have loved talking with them about all the things they know about Komondors.

It really is so fun watching them. I could sit and watch them forever:)

Puppies Two Weeks Old

Yeah our puppies are two weeks old today! They are doing awesome and continue to grow. They opened their eyes just a few days ago and are starting to move around a little more.
We ordered them colored collars that we'll put on them hopefully next week, that way we can tell them apart better. I plan to take some individual pictures of them at that point and post them. I love to pick them up and pet them. They just nuzzle right into you and will suck on your finger.

We had another family put a down payment on a puppy, they were not sure if they wanted a male or female yet and wanted to come see them again when they are a few weeks older. There is also a couple from Hungary who live in New York interested in a male puppy.

We are very excited to see them getting bigger and continue to do so well.
These are all five of the male puppies

These were taken after we took some video. I think we wore them out:)
This was their first time on the grass. They just sniffed it and walked around a bit then decided to take a rest.

These pictures are of the three females
when I separated them for these pics they kept crying for their brothers

Here is a Video of the five male puppies. You can't hear as well the little sounds and grunts they make but they are still so cute!
