Puppy Collars

Yeah! We finally got the collars in the mail so we can tell which pup is which. I was so excited last night to take pictures. The light was fading so sorry about some of the dark pics. We will take more later this week. I still need to get one more collar. It's hard to find nine different ones! So the one labeled purple currently does not have one.

Puppies 4 weeks

The puppies are now 4 weeks old and doing wonderful. They are now getting their teeth in and we have started them on puppy food. It really was  funny the first time feeding them, they all just swarmed the food and were acting like it was the best thing ever. Their little tails were wagging so fast:)
The weather has finally warmed up enough to have the puppies outside which they all really like. They love exploring and having room to run around. I ordered puppy collars so we would be able to tell which puppy was which but they have not arrived yet so I am hoping withing the next few days.

Puppies3 Weeks

Our little puppies are growing so fast. They are on the move a lot lately and getting so big. It is finally warming up enough were they can go outside now. I am hoping the weather stays that way. They really enjoyed going outside and exploring.

I love how they all just pile on top of each other when they are sleeping it is really very cute 

This one heard my camera and perked up to see what I was doing.



Puppies 2 Weeks old

Our puppies are growing so fast! This week they have started to open their eyes and are moving around much more. They are figuring out how to use their back legs which is really cute to see. I took a little video to show them being a little more active. We can start to see some of their personalities coming out and we really look forward to seeing them grow and develope.

Eye Certified

This has been a busy week. We took both Crombie and Nessie in and had their eyes certified. It is done by a special group who focus only on the dogs eye health, so it can't be done by just your vet.
Both came back as normal. In order to check them they have to dilate their eyes just like we have to get done. I had the vet pose for this picture with Nessie since when they really do it all the lights are off. She was a good sport about it.

I think both Crombie and Nessie were wondernig what was going on but they did fantastic and were well behaved.

Puppies 1 Week

Our puppies are now a little over one week old and are doing fantastic! They are so cute but, can be very noisy when it comes time to eat. I love all their little grunts and squeaks. They are growing so fast! When they are first born their noses and the pads of their feet are all pink but during the first week they will turn black and it is so fun to see. 

Nessie is being a great mom and taking very good care of her pups.

New Litter!

We are very excited to announce we just had another litter of puppies! Nessie delivered 9 healthy pups on Friday April 6th. We have four females and five males. Both mother and pups are doing very well.

We had not expected to have another litter until later this summer but Nessie went into heat sooner than last year.
