Update

Sorry I have been so bad at updating the blog regarding our recent puppies. We just had a baby so I'm sure many of you know how that is:)

I just wanted to post an update that we did sell all our puppies. I am very excited for them!
One went to a home who already has a Komondor and will be a working dog.
Another was purchased by a woman who trains therapy dogs. We are very excited for this! I have always felt that Komondor would be great dogs for therapy as they have a wonderful temperament and really are gentle giants. So I am exited to follow this little pup and see how he does when fully trained.
The woman who bought him has a web site so I will post that on the sidebar for anyone interested in more information.

Puppies!!!!

We have had a big suprise and Nessie had three puppies on Dec 26th.
We have two males and one female. This will be our last litter. Her cycles have been to unpredictable and even though we have tried to space out her litters she has still gotten pregnant. So in her best interest we won't be breading her again.
These pups should be available the week of Valentines for local pick up. Since this litter caught us off guard and due to the cold weather we are asking $500 for the males and $700 for the female.

I am currently unable to post any pics on the blog as I have run out of room for photos! If you would like any updated pics just email or text me and I am happy to send you some.

Next litter

Sorry for the major lack of posting lately. July got very busy. We have sold all our puppies! We are so happy they are all in their new homes and doing great!

Currently we are not planning another litter until the spring/summer of 2014. We do have a waiting list for anyone interested in the next litter. Just email us your information and if you would prefer a male or female and were you are located. We will then contact you when we know we will be expecting more pups.

We took our family trip to Flaming Gorg and of course Crom and Nes came with us. I did not get any pics of them this year so here are some of them from last year.

Puppy Update

We now only have one puppy left. It is the third puppy from the videos.
We sold the other one just the other day. I spaced it however and did not get a pic with the new family.

If you are interested shoot me an email or give us a call.

Thanks!

Koms with kids

I have had a lot of people ask how Komondor are with kids. Honestly I think they are fabulous! They love kids and really are very gentle with them. They are a large dog so our biggest problem is if one of ours turns around and Z gets swatted by a tail. Like all dogs though you want to make sure you watch them with your kids first. We were very careful when we first brought our little boy home.
We only had Crombie at the time and he LOVED the baby:)

I often tell people that when Z was little Crombie would lay under his jumper in the door way just to be close to the baby. He really would let Z jump all over his head.

Crombie also was great to let Z pull on him and took it all in stride. Crombie even helped him learn to walk by letting him pull up on him and use him to walk around the house.

In our experience they are wonderful with our little boy and other children that come over to play.
They take them on as their own flock and really watch out for them.

Puppies 12 weeks

We hope everyone had a great July 4th!

Our pups are doing great. We still have two Male's available.
Which are pup 1 and 3 from our last post.
I took more video of them with our little boy. They love to chase him around and play
These pups are so stinken cute!!
They are both super fun and friendly and love people and other pets.
I know Zander will be very sad to see his puppies go.
Every morning when he wakes up he askes if he can go out and feed the puppies:)

Puppy Videos

I have had several people ask for more pics of the puppies we have available.
Since my husband works during the day and these puppies don't like to pose well for photos I took some video. They had also just had bathes and loved it:)

Puppy one
This little guy has a hernia which does need to be taken care of
He is super fun and playful and is always the first one to go up to new people and make friends

Puppy two
Sold
This guy is our largest puppie, he is so thick and husky.
He is super sweet and loves to play with our little boy. He did get bit on his nose and required stitches so he will have a scare. You can see it in the video.

Puppy three
This puppy is super playful and fun. He has the most energy of all of them. He is very outgoing and friendly with all the new dogs he has met. Out of the three he would be best for a show dog if anyone is interested. He has some nice qualities.
